Engineer

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Williams County Engineer's webpage.  As most people know, the engineer's office is responsible for the county's road and bridge infrastructure.  However, the Williams County Engineer's duties are rather unique, in that they have oversight on several departments that most counties in Ohio do not. For instance, most counties do not own and maintain their own sanitary sewer systems. Drainage departments are often run by a county's Soil and Water division, but we maintain our own. Several tax map departments are run through the auditors office, but due to the surveying and drafting component, the engineer's office hosts that department.  The engineer holds an oath to use their integrity, knowledge, and skill to serve humanity for the public good
