Notary Information
To Notarize a Title
The owner of the vehicle MUST have the following completed on the back of the title:
- Assignment of Ownership
- Delivery date (if applicable)
- Purchase Price
- New buyers name and address
- Odometer Certification (if applicable)
- Seller’s name and address
These blanks must be completed before you can notarize the seller’s signature on the title. Should you notarize a title without this information, considered an open title, you run the risk of losing your notary commission.
